How do you replace the blower motor in a 2000 Pontiac Firebird?

If the air has stopped blowing completely, and was very loud for months beforehand, I am assuming the blower motor has gone out. I am aware that it is under the dash on the passenger side, but I have never tried to replace something like this myself. Am I correct in my assumption, and how do I go about replacing it? Thanks!How do you replace the blower motor in a 2000 Pontiac Firebird?Sounds pretty likely. If you want to make sure before you take it out and buy a new one, get a piece of wire long enough to reach, attach one end to the Positive Battery cable, and touch the other end to the power terminal (where the wire was hooked up to) on the motor. (usually the only wire, unless there's a short ground-strap) Just make sure you don't touch that wire to the body or anything else metal while it's hot.

Here's a guide for the rest of it, starting with dis-arming the air bags;

Select Year, Make, Model, and Engine.

Click Chassis Electrical, then Disarming The System. Save that page. Click Arming The System. Save that page. Then go back or over to Heating%26amp;air Conditioning, and Blower Motor is first up. Save that page.
