How difficult is it to switch out a 94 Dodge Caravan trans?

I am looking to buy a 94 dodge caravan with the 3.3l engine not sure what transmission it has on it but it needs to be replaced. the housing is cracked. The transmission will come out though the bottom of the engine compartment. A trained technician with the correct tools can remove the old one and install a new one in about two days. The bigger problem is that this van is not worth the cost and expense.
