How much does it cost to replace an alternator in a 2003 Nissan Altima?

Alternators themselves are around $100-150 dollars. I don't know how hard nissan's are to work on but look into it and see if you can do it yourself and save some money. If not I think a good estimate for a shop to do it would be around $250-300.How much does it cost to replace an alternator in a 2003 Nissan Altima?Alternators on all Jap models are nearly same.
