How do you replace a window wiper arm on a car?

Im not asking how to replace the window wiper blades, but the bracket or the arm that the blades attach to. A piece of debris on the highway flew up and broke one of the arms in half. Im trying to put the wiper arm on the passenger side to the driver side for now. I drive a 2000 Hyundai Elantra.How do you replace a window wiper arm on a car?1. either there is a small set screw on the side of the ball where it rotates. this screw holds it in place.



2. (ford normally) there should be a small flat lever sticking off to the side of the ball that rotates, pull that out w/ screwdriver or key and that unlocks the arm allowing it to be released.



3. flip up the end cap (end that rotates), be a plastic cap, and should be a bolt (normally 10mm) that will hold the arm on.



be care full on all versions not to nick the teeth in the gear as you remove the arm.How do you replace a window wiper arm on a car?It's easy. There is a nut under the housing of the arm. Remove it and the arm slides right off. Slide the new one on, screw the nut back down, replace the housing. Shouldn't take more than 10 mins to replace.
