Someone stole our car a week and a day ago, we got it back this morning, they hadn't done anything to it except screw up the steering column. they sawed through some of the metal parts in there, so now we have to replace the entire thing. Does anyone know how much it costs to replace all of it?
it's got cruise control setting and that sort of thing on the steering wheel. We don't know how much money we're gonna be looking at spending so we're not sure what to do just yet. and we can't get anyone to give us a straight answer when we call.
Oh, and we live in the houston, texas area if that makes a difference. sometimes stuff is cheaper from one city/state to the next, so if that helps at all. Any info we could get would be great.
We can't get salvage yards to tell us how much it'll cost cuz they said they don't do inventory they're 'u-pick-u-pull' places, so they don't know. we're trying to weigh our options on what'd be the cheapest thing to do.How much does it cost to replace a steering column in a '93 Lincoln?call a repair shop
