my microwave is just a few months old. the lightbulb went out. If you have a counter model- the bulb sometimes accessible from rear panel with one screw, else you have to remove the wrapper (case) of unit to get access. Rear screws and usually 4 bottom edge screws. UNPLUG FIRST!!!!How do I replace the lightbulb in a Sharp Carousel mircrowave?If you want to change it yourself, first unplug the oven. Remove the screws from the back and any that might be on the sides. The case slips upon tabs at the front and sometimes sides also. Now slip the case to the rear to disengage the tabs. Stay clear of the high voltage components as they can still deliver a shock. Remove the old bulb and get a replacement probably from an appliance shop or electrical store. Do not operate the oven with out the case installed.
