How do you replace a shower head pipe?

The showerhead pipe is copper and all the pipe threads broke off at showerhead. Can I add threads to the remaining pipe with a tool or something? If not, is the pipe sticking out of the wall easy to replace? How do you replace a shower head pipe?Yeah the shower head arm should unscrew from its socket. The threads are sealed on the other end though so you will need to use a set of Channel Lock pliers.

When installing the replacement use thread sealant - teflon tape will do. be sure to protect the finish of the new arm with a rag or some thin cardboard so you don't mar the finish. How do you replace a shower head pipe?I don't recommend adding threads.

Try to remove the existing piece of pipe with a pair of pliers. Next buy a new piece and reinstall it. I recommend wrapping the threads with teflon tape (about two or three wraps). How do you replace a shower head pipe?all u need to do is take a rubber handle pair of pliers and stick one end in the shower neck (the part that has broken off) then turn it counter clock wise to unscrew it. then put teflon tape on the end furthest away from the curve and insert it into the wall and screw in clock wise. add the shower head and test for leaks.
